I thought I'd weigh in as well.
I arrived at my polling place around 7:10 this morning. After determining which precinct I live in I was off to sign in and get my ballot. I took my bank statement with me to test not having a photo ID, but I thought better of making waves when it wasn't necessary.
I checked the "Democratic" box, collected the ballot, and was off to the open booth seemingly waiting for me.
After filling in the circles and reminiscing about standard testing, I pulled off the perf tab to drop it in the enveloped taped to the box for my ballot.
In all the process was seamless and the people pleasant. I was happily surprised to see a couple of women younger than myself working at the polling place.
Other than slipping a little in the parking lot, I thought it went very well. I hope all in this county and state have it as easy as I did. I sure hope Ohio makes national news not for polling place problems, but for the swiftness of the returns and the candidates that were elected.
